About the project
Dictionary Web is built for the moment after you look a word up — when you still are not sure how to use it.
Definitions are grouped by part of speech, with verbs, adjectives, and proverbs separated rather than run together in one list, and each sense carries its usage annotation. Audio pronunciation plays inline from the API's own recordings.
Search fires as you type with debouncing, and the whole interface ships with a dark and light mode that persists across visits.
